Rustic Burlap and Books

Casie and I are usually the ones planning something wonderful for our friends and family.  It's not very often that we get the honor of receiving the special Celebration.  In this case, I was very honored to be a part of this Celebration in receiving it as a time to celebrate this new baby that will be coming the end of August.  The day is approaching faster than we can think of, so this was a great time to get my mind back on baby and off of all the other chaos in our lives right now.  The timing was perfect, and I was so encouraged and appreciative of all the hard work that went into this evening.  I do hope that I was able to capture all of the details.  There were so many that it took me a bit to take it all in.  The pictures just don't do it justice.  Thank you to Melissa Troyer for contributing some of her wonderful photos for us to use on our blog as well!  Enjoy the evening from our blog's perspective.  I wish you all could have been there to soak in all the goodness, flavors, and eye catching details.

Some of those details were:
~A door painted and then made into a table for the dessert table.
~Lamp turned into cupcake stands.
~A ladder and mason jars with candles for the chandelier over the dessert table.
~Fresh flowers and lamps and candles adding a lovely ambiance.
~Vintage furniture for tables and chairs.
~Pages from books used in the centerpieces as flowers.
~Hand fans for the ladies to use in the warmth.
~Guest sign in of rocks to be used as decoration in a glass jar later on.  Wonderful thing to read back through and give decor to our home.

The two fabulous ladies, Casie and Celia, who made this amazing and wonderful evening happen.

Did you enjoy coming along and enjoying the celebratin with us through the pictures?  Let us know in the comments what detail you liked the most.  These ladies added so many to this Celebration that I'm sure I missed some, such as hanging mason jars with candles along wooden beams in the barn, an up close of the burlap "book" sign on the vintage suitcase, and lots of votive candles just placed around the tables to add a glow.  Oh, and I forgot the invitation.  Go here to see the post on the invitation.  It was the perfect way to get the feeling across of how the style was going to be.
Thank you for following us while we create memorable moments for the ones we love.  If you get any ideas for your own CeLeBrations, let us know.  We love to hear how others are using our ideas or giving special honor to someone in their life.  What a blessing it truly is to be honored and loved so much!
